My Story

I was born and raised in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, CA and am a self taught photographer.

I have always loved taking photos, and have many albums of all my memories growing up.

Every photograph I take has a story to tell
or a story to think about…

What Guides Me

While living in Portland, Oregon in 2014, I realized my true passion.  Surrounded by beautiful flowers, I began shooting a flower a day.  My passion was further fueled when I moved to Sandy, Oregon in 2015.  I became fascinated with old barns, abandoned structures, and country settings.   I got a crazy and giddy feeling every time I would see a barn, and just had to go shoot it.  I felt them calling to me.

I think I shot every barn surrounding the Portland/Salem area.  At the same time I became enamored with the railroad tracks and old bridges near the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge.

Now I’m living in colorful Colorado, where my journey of photography is being taken to the next level.  Old trucks and cars are my favorites.  I especially love finding them in spectacular fields, surrounded by nature.

I sincerely love what I do and will continue taking photographs of the beauty I find everywhere.   A friend of mine commented on one of my photos,  and said  I can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary with my eye and camera.

I possess the “Eye” and passion for capturing Beauty in its simplest forms.
